How HAY Living WorksFrom first conversation to transformed environment here's exactly what to expect...
Step 1 - We talk first
A free 15-minute call. No pitch. No obligation.
You tell me about your facility or your loved one's situation. I listen, ask a few questions, and tell you honestly whether and how HAY Living can help. If it's not the right fit, I'll say so.
Most people leave this call with a clear sense of what's possible — and what to do next.
step 2 - we come to you
There is no substitute for being in the space. I walk through with fresh eyes, observing how energy moves, what's working, what's creating friction, and what small changes would create the biggest shift.
For facilities, this visit is completely free and carries no commitment. For families, this is where the consultation begins.
step 3 - you receive a written report
Clear. Practical. Specific to your space.
Every HAY Living engagement produces a detailed written report, not vague suggestions, but specific, prioritized recommendations you can act on immediately. For facilities, this report goes to your Director of Care. For families, it becomes your personal guide to the transformed space.
step 4 - we implement together
The most powerful environmental changes are rarely expensive. Furniture placement, light, flow, personal objects, colour are the levers that matter most. I work alongside your team or your family to bring the recommendations to life without disrupting daily operations or daily life.
step 5 - the environment stays alive
A HAY Living environment isn't a one-time project. It evolves with your residents, your seasons, and your facility's growth. Certified facilities receive regular visits, new resident assessments, and an annually renewed certification that keeps the energy of the building, and the trust of families, consistently high.
For families, seasonal or yearly upgrades are recommended.
