Vitality & Dignity
In every room

Residents in HAY Living certified environments show measurable improvements in daily energy, engagement, and mood within weeks. Every space is assessed for the energy that sustains rather than deplete the people living in it.

A room that could belong to anyone dignifies no one.

We make sure their history, their identity and their life is expressed in the room itself. Your parent deserves to feel more alive in this new chapter, not less.

It starts with a conversation...

Exclusivity
Market Differentiator

The HAY Living Certification for Senior Care Facilities is the only Feng Shui environmental wellness designation for senior care in North America. We limit the number we certify in every region. Every family tour that encounters it is a conversation your admissions team can have that no other facility in your region can replicate with a brochure or a renovation budget. We partner with you to keep your facility the one families choose year after year.

Staff Zones
Less burn-out

Staff spend 8–12 hours a day in these environments. When the common areas and corridors have good energy flow, you get lower staff burnout and higher retention which are real effects of a well-designed environment.

We create workplaces where good people are less depleted, stay longer and give more of themselves to the residents in their care.

Family Retention
Confidence & Trust

Family retention is one of the most financially significant metrics a senior care facility tracks.

Families stay where they feel their loved one is truly seen.

The number one reason families move a resident is not care quality, it's a feeling.

When HAY Living personalizes a room to reflect who that resident actually is, families feel the facility genuinely cares. That emotional trust is extraordinarily hard to break. They call their siblings and say "she's going to be okay there." That story gets retold at every family gathering.

Our Story:
by Sharon Hay

20+ years experience

For over 20 years I have been a Feng Shui Consultant and teacher mostly in Canada. I've been taught by many masters from around the world. I have walked into hundreds of homes, offices, buildings and spaces and felt immediately what was alive in them and what was not. I have watched environments drain people without anyone understanding why and I have watched the same environments, once transformed, give people back vitality they thought they had lost.

the hay ripple effect

When a person's environment is transformed, the effect does not just stay in their room. It radiates. When their family visits they feel it. The staff caring for them feel it. Fellow residents feel it. The whole facility's energy shifts in positive ways that are subtle but unmistakable. Vitality is contagious. And it starts with one room, one person, one breath..... Commitment to helping people thrive where they live and work

A few years ago, after dealing with the health of an aging family member, I made a decision to focus on the people who need this work most, seniors navigating one of the most significant transitions of their lives. Thus the beginning of HAY Living. I create an environment that says, "your best years are not behind you. You are still vital. You still matter. This space belongs to you, and it's going to lift you".
